Roble Anomaly

The El Roble Anomaly is located within the Las Naves Central mining concession, 1.2 kilometers north-northwest from the El Gallo Anomaly and 300 meters west from the Roble 1 anomaly. Mineralization at surface is hosted in a one meter wide vein consisting of massive chalcopyrite, galena and sphalerite.  The host rock is a strongly argillized andesite with disseminated pyrite and small clasts of silica and poly-sulphides.  The Roble massive polysulphide vein has a strike of 35o and dips 85o to the southeast.

Geochemical results include:
  • 4 meters at an average of 1.0 g/t gold and 95 g/t silver; 4.4% copper and 3.0% zinc; including 1 meter averaging of 2.04 g/t gold and 295 g/t silver, 15.1% copper and 6.9% zinc.
  • 2.2 meters at an average of 1.1 g/t gold, 3.2 g/t silver and 3.2% copper.
